 Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary 

Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary was born in Alor Setar, Kedah in 1951 at middle class family. His family hailed from Hadhramaut, ‎Yemen. Before deciding to live in Kedah, his father traveled as far as Central Asia to ‎trade. Then, his father went to Thailand, before finally deciding to live in Alor Setar, ‎Kedah in the mid 1940’s

A humble entrepreneur, often shying away from publicity and media. Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary is the richest Malay Entrepreneur at US$2.75 Billion and bumiputra in Malaysia, and has continued to hold the status for a long time. In his childhood, he found difficulties to do school revision because of the inadequate house facilities and small space. But that did not stop him from achieving his current status. Syed Mokhtar is a great giver; his very first salary received during his youth was divided by 2 halves – one for him, and another for charity. Companies that Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary are affiliated with are MMC (utility, engineering, infrastructure, and logistics group), DRB-HICOM (automotive manufacturing, assembly and distribution), Tradewinds (plantation, agro-based and property sectors), Puncak Semangat (Telecommunications-4G) and many more which covers from Ports, Postal services, Banking.


Why I like Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary because he always help peolple in any condition . He is the humility person among all the entrepreneurs in Malaysia . Before this, we just heard his name without knowing his background. I eager to choose him because he just an ordinary person that doing extraordinary things. He is also the richest Malay in this country and very much respected businessman and philanthropy.

Datuk Wan Mohammad Sani Salleh

Wan Mohammad Sani Salleh is known among the young malay entrepreneurs as a great success due to his persistence of being a self made millionaire. He runs a network of buses under a company named Sani United Sdn Bhd. At age 35, he has received many awards such as the young entrepreneurs award from the Association of Young Malay Traders and Entrepreneurs and often referred to as an new generation icon.nAt age 33, young people like to have everything. Return businesses millions of dollars, the building itself as a center of business operations with the purchase and renovation costs reaching RM7 million, driving a Ferrari F360 Modena worth RM1 million and occupied a luxury bungalow worth RM 9 million.

The service of Sani Express is the best service that I have been use , this is because before they start the journey , the staff have to make sure all the passager arrive and read the doa , The condition od bus is more confortrable with the chair , television and the best things is the single seat for this bus . Im proud with him because before this we already know about the accident of the Sani Express and he has a big problem because on that year the selling for ticket decrease but he take it as a challange and make the improvement in all condition like the safety , the service and others . Nowdays , his business become more improvement because all the customer know about the service that are provided in Sani . In addition either the service of bus , he also expend his busisness into the field of hotel .

Datuk Dr. Maznah is Securiforce Group Executive Chairman. She has led Securiforce from the unknown company for the past 30 years and turn it to be one of the biggest security guard company in Malaysia and successfully compete with over 400 other companies of its kind.

Today she leads more than 65 branches , 6,000 employees and in addition to that she surrounded by hundreds of guns and dozens of bullet-proof vans. To grow their business, they had to sell their house and moved to a slum that came without electricity. But she persevered. What a phenomenal woman malay entrepreneur she is. She has now grown to venture in many other industries such as the hospitality, training, healthcare and so on. Bhd.And in 2010, she launched her own personal brand of cosmetics called "SimplySiti . Even she not know about the business but she try very hard to survive in this becuase she love to do the bussines from the child . This is because when she was a small child, she helped her mother sell Malay traditional cakes and snacks (or kueh) in town. She was shy and embarrassed initially but later found selling the kueh to be exciting and fun.
